I started racing single seaters in 1992 with the Jim Russell Vauxhall Junior Champuonship. Through the following years I progressed thorough Formula Renault 1700 an Sports prototypes for six years.
During this period I gained my ARDS licence and continued to work on Experiance and Corporate days, track days and manufacturer work for 14 years. In 2002 I raced in the British GT Championship then through various sports car categories including the Britcar 24Hr.
Returning to my roots in later years I raced the Walter Hayes Trophy three seasons running.
Through this period I also worked as a Driving Standards Agency Direct Access instructor for motorcycles on the public highway. This then developed to training to be an ADI for two years.
A four and a half year period saw me work for Porsche as a PDC along with product launches for many manufacturers.
This led on to my current role, which I have been in for twelve months, working as a Training Specialist for Mercedes-Benz UK.
Looking after the training requirements for the dealer network and involvement with international product launches.
Competition wise I built a racing motorcycle during 2012 and raced it successfully this year in two championships. The reward was a first and a second place in the year end standings, with a Championship Crown.
